In a last minute scoop before the official unveiling of the iOS 7 in the 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference today, the website 9to5mac provided a picture of what the interface of the new operating system for Apple portable devices will possibly look like, which you can see above.
Readers should be reminded that the image above is just a mock up of the iOS 7 interface. However, the source claimed that the depiction is pretty much like what was revealed to him by an inside source in Apple earlier (a few hours ago to be exact).
Based on the photo, there have been slight improvements with the Home screen as well as its icons. The author of the article said that iTunes will now receive a purple hue with a touch of white, the camera icon will appear in gray gradient this time similar to its look in the lock screen, the Safari icon will get a Mac circle icon without the silver frame and plenty of other revisions.
The report mentioned that the new interface of the iOS 7 appears to be a bit flat though which confirms the earlier reports stating that the new operating system of Apple’s mobile devices will have a flat look.
The other rumored features of the iOS 7 include two new color schemes, new walking directions functionality, improved grouping of tables and new controls in the Airdrop app.
Other Possible Releases
Our previous report pointed out that Apple may also reveal a new iPhone model (likely the iPhone 5S), a new operating system for Mac called Lynx, the iPad Mini Retina, new iPod and a barrage of new apps.
These rumors will come to light in a few hours as the countdown to the WWDC nears its end. So, be sure to check our site later for more updates.
