Team Unlock already launched an untethered iPhone 5 jailbreak for iOS 6.1.4 and 6.1.3 according to Know Your Mobile. However, you will surely be charged for it.
The iOS 6.1.4 is an update released by Apple to fix a glitch with the speaker. But some users have complained that it compromised some other features of their phone like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth said the source.
Team Unlock confirmed via our source that they can jailbreak the iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 despite other services failing to accomplish it. The message on their website also claims that they have succeeded where others have failed.
The only problem is that they are charging $25 for the download of their software for installation. The report pointed out that is unlike the other legitimate jailbreaking services who give away their software for free. One of the free sources that the article cited is the one from Evasion.
However, Evasi0n said via the source that it won’t be offering jailbreak for Apple’s recent firmware updates. Instead, it will just wait for the iOS 7 to be launched by the company.
Well, it won’t be long anyway to see another work of Evasi0n since the iOS 7 will be coming this June at the WWDC according to Apple Insider.
