Smartphones with tablet features, commonly known as phablets, are going to become significant players in the market soon. According to GSMinsider, the development of phablets based on Android and Windows Phone platforms are on the rise lately.
Based on the report, a new line of phablets from Nokia and Sony are in the under works. The one from the Finland-based manufacturer is called the Nokia 1030 while the other is the Sony Togari.
The Nokia 1030 Specs
The Nokia 1030 will come in blue color as seen in the main photo above. Then, it will run on the Windows Phone operating system. There is no word yet about its exact size, but since it is considered as a phablet, its screen size should be bigger than 5 inches.
The Sony Togari Specs
In the report of Android Community, the Sony Togari will have a screen size of 6.44 inches, which is almost the measurement of some tablets on the market today. In addition, it will have a screen resolution of around 1080p.
Although there was no mention about its operating system, we can only assume that it will come with an Android OS similar to its predecessor, the Sony Xperia Z.
Speaking of the Sony Xperia Z, the said Sony Togari in the picture shares the same appearance with it. The only obvious difference between the two is that the Sony Togari appears to be bigger.
The Other Unreleased Device
The other unreleased device in the photo above which bears the HTC brand is the HTC M4. This one looks like the HTC One but it has narrower speaker grills and white frame bordering the display. The smartphone is said to get a 4.3-inch display with 720p resolution. Also, it will come with dual core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 1700mAh battery plus a Jelly Bean OS.
The Authenticity of the Picture
The sources are skeptical about the authenticity of the picture though. This is because it is very rare to see a picture wherein three unreleased devices are featured.
