Jellybean update for Xperia S, SL and Acro S finally certified

It seems that the long wait for Xperia users is finally over. The official update firmware for Xperia S, Xperia Acro S and Xperia SL is finally certified. This means that Jellybean update for these handsets are almost complete and users can expect the update anytime soon.

Although we can’t really say that you will get the update this week itself, what we are sure is that you would at least get it before the end of this month. Xperia S users have been waiting for this update for almost a year now and the update deadlines had been postponed many a times in the last few months.

The company had announced jellybean on these devices long time back; but it was only in April that they actually gave a time frame for the update. Last month, the company finally announced that the jellybean update would roll out in May and looks like the update is on schedule.

Unfortunately we have no news for Xperia Ion users but given that Xperia S, acro S and SL are going to get the update pretty soon, it won’t be long till Ion gets the deserved jellybean.

We are sure Xperia S, Acro S and SL users will be pretty excited hearing this news and make sure that you check back on the website for further updates.
