HP redesigns its ProBook laptops

HP, the company that was facing quite some hardships some time ago, have regained their position in the Laptop industry. The main reason is that they produced some of the finest laptops catering to the needs of a diverse group of individuals. The good thing about the company is that is that they provide customized laptops considering the needs of their customers.

Just recently, we have learnt that HP will be altering or rather redesigning it’s ProBook to be used by small businesses. In this way, not only has HP gathered the attention of business people but has also assured its users that the company will continue to provide support and comfort for its customers.

The new version of the ProBook will have a new look and because of its lighter design and thinness, it will weigh relatively lighter than the older version. HP did bring about a modification in its ProBook earlier when it installed the AMD Trinity chips primarily for small business use but this time around, they have made some major changes.

The features of this new ProBook are interesting; they have a 1366 x 768 display for the regularly sized and 1600 x 900 display for the 17 inch model ProBooks, providing users with a good resolution for either sized laptop.

It must be understood that currently the company has planned to launched the following versions; the 430, 440, 455 and 470. The size of each of these versions differ from 13.3 to 17.3 inches. All these versions except the 430, which alone has a SSD option along with  the optional optical drive. Another amazing feature is that the 440, 450 and 470 can be used with both a six and a nine cell replaceable battery. The price of the newer version of the ProBook will start from $499.

It is interesting to note that all the ProBooks are made of aluminum body and feature a soft touch paint on the bodies. It is expected that the 430 will be launched in July this year.
