If you are looking to buy the new Samsung Galaxy S4 and you happened to be in the U.S., you might want to wait a little longer so you could get hold of its Google Edition variant.
According to GSMinsider, which is our source of the report, this will really be worth the wait because it will let you get rid of all the storage hassles brought about by Touchwiz and other bloatware. The report said that the new Galaxy S4 Google Edition will be available in the U.S. by June 26 this year. That’s just more than a month from now.
Problem in LTE Connectivity
The source speculates that the new version of the product will only be available in the American market for now because the company still needs to fix some of its issues in terms of LTE connectivity. It says that this is due to the fact that the different regions of the world have different frequencies in terms of LTE connection. It hints though that it might be offered in the Asian and European markets later once the problems have been sorted out.
Effect on the Ordinary Galaxy S4’s Sales
Another reason why the Google Edition won’t be offered in other locations yet is because it might affect the sales of the ordinary Samsung Galaxy S4 which just came out in some locations of the globe. The source said the company is afraid that the new edition might be favored more by customers because it will offer more memory for usage as compared to its original 16GB version which only has 8GB left for usage due to the preinstalled programs in its system.
Where to Buy
If you are looking to own the new Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition later, it will be sold via the Google Play store. Just check out the online store one month from now to get this cool variant of the Galaxy S4.
