There is another Samsung Galaxy Note 3 8.0 news today. And this is not a rumor, in a way. The news comes from the Bluetooth SIG, as the tablet has headed there for the certification. The mobile device has the model number SM-T311, which we have seen in previous rumors.
But the Bluetooth SIG does not mention the device as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 8.0. This name is also not yet official. Although, Bluetooth SIG indicates that we are looking at a Samsung “Mobile Tablet” device here. The certification listing date for the device has been listed as April 26th.
Bluetooth SIG also mentions that it thinks the South Korean tech giant might release the SM-T311 only in the European market. But if this turns out to be a tablet, then there is a pretty good chance that the company will let the device explore a wider market.
The rumored specs of the device include an 8 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet is expected to be running on a quad core processor and running the latest version of the Android Jelly Bean mobile operating system. The Galaxy Note 3 8.0 is expected to be available in white to begin with, and will be just 6.95 mm thin. From the image above, it is certain that the device will come with Bluetooth 4.0.
