Alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus images and specs leak (Updated)

Tab3Plus2Tab3Plus1 Two images showing the upcoming Galaxy Tab 4 has been leaked via SamMobile. The tablet looks like the Galaxy Note 8.0 which was announced back in February and the lock screen resembles that of Galaxy SIV. According to SamMobile, Galaxy Tab 3 Plus will be powered by Samsung Exynos 5410 Octa CPU coupled with Imagination Power SGX 544MP3 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. It will feature a 10.055″ display with 2560×1600 resolution and 300 PPI. Samsung may use a PLS LCD or Super AMOLED ‘PENTILE’ display in their next tablet. Galaxy Tab 3 Plus will also boast an 8 Megapixel rear and 2 Megapixel front facing camera with Auto Focus. The rear camera will be able to record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.

Other rumoured specs shows 32 and 64 GB models, a microSD slot to expand the storage up to 64 GB, an IR blaster along with a 9000mAh battery. Galaxy Tab 2 will come in three variants with model numbers GT-P8200, GT-P8210 and GT-P8220.

Some rumors also suggest that Samsung might change the name of the Galaxy Tab 3 to Galaxy S Tab considering the popularity of the Galaxy S smartphones.  Samsung has been trying hard to keep their upcoming devices away from the spy cameras but it seems they have failed to do so. We already saw some leaked images of Samsung Galaxy SIV before its launch and now these new images of Galaxy S Tab have been spotted in the wild.

Update: If we closely observe the leaked images, we will see an earpiece on the top despite its landscape orientation which makes these images doubtful so the rumors should be taken with a pinch of salt.
