Usagi Yojimbo: Way of the Ronin Android Game Review

Comic book fans will be familiar with Usagi Yojimbo, a popular ronin rabbit who wanders the land selling his services as a bodyguard. This character, created by Stan Sakai, is now featured in an Android game called Usagi Yojimbo: Way of the Ronin which is follows a 2D beat-‘em-up gameplay. As an added trivia, this is the first Usagi Yojimbo game in 25 years ever since the Commodore 64 title Samurai Warrior: The Battles of Usagi Yojimbo was released in 1988.

Usagi Yojimbo: Way of the Ronin is developed by HappyGiant and is now available for download over at Google Play for $ 1.99. You will need a device running on at least Android 2.0 as well as a storage space of 241 MB.

In this title you get to play the part of Usagi as you travel feudal Japan with your sword named Grasscutter. As you travel you will get to encounter more than 60 enemy types as well as fight 13 different boss monsters.  There are 3 action packed levels available for you to play which will provide hours of fun. There are more than a dozen combos for you to unlock to make you more deadly with your sword. You will also encounter some of your friends, such as Gen and Tomoe, in the game who will provide you with assistance

The graphics of the game reminds you of comic books which is pretty neat. The controls are quite simple and very responsive.
