Toy Story: Andy’s Room Android Game Review

Another game has just been released by Disney that’s based on the Toy Story franchise. Toy Story: Andy’s Room is actually a live wallpaper that comes with various mini games. Since it’s a game that runs on your homescreen it will definitely sap your batteries faster.

Toy Story: Andy’s Room can now be downloaded for free over at Google Play. You will need a device running on at least Android 2.1 and a storage space of 31 MB.

Once you have downloaded the game you will have to activate it by choosing it from your live wallpaper list. As soon as you select it you will be presented with a 360 view of Andy’s room which you can explore by swiping left or right on your screen. Since this is basically a live wallpaper it would be good if there were less icons on your homescreen since it blocks your otherwise perfect view.

There are a number of mini-games which you can play including catching the falling army men as well as darts. The objective of the games is to earn the highest scores possible. As your score increases you will get to unlock several characters of the Toy Story universe.

The light in the room follows the time zone you are in. If it is daytime in your area then the scenery is going to be bright. If it is nighttime then the scene changes to dark.

Some of the game features include

  • Encounter popular Toy Story characters: Unlock and interact with 5 characters from Toy Story including Woody, Buzz, Rex, Hamm, and the Aliens!
  • Collect points to unlock new characters with fun mini games: Catch falling army men, and hit the bullseye on the dart board to earn valuable points!
  • Hang out in Andy’s room from day till night: Play from sunrise to sunset, and watch the room change throughout the day according to your local time!
  • Customize your own cork board: Write fun messages and reminders on the cork board in Andy’s Room

If you love Toy Story then you will definitely love this free interactive live wallpaper.
