HTC’s new phone, the HTC One is doing extremely well in the Smartphone market. With rave reviews, stylish looks and a power-packed performance, the phone has fast gained popularity that rivals the Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 phones from Samsung and Apple respectively. Although this phone is priced at the higher end of the spectrum, it has been received very well by consumers worldwide. HTC One’s success is short lived however, with Sony’s new baby all set to rock markets and upset the phone cart. If rumors ring true, Sony’s Xperia C670X has specs to rival and surpass those of HTC’s One, and in the same price range in the market. While there is no confirmation from the company, there is great excitement around this new phone. Here’s a sneak peek into the upcoming Xperia C670X.
Sony’s new product is expected to run Android 4.2-JellyBean and comes with a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB built –in memory. The C67, as with other Xperia phones is a sealed unit with a side slot for the SIM card and no provision for a microSD card so memory is not expandable beyond the designated 32GB. The phone also comes with an Adreno 320 GPU. Display size is fixed at 4.8 inches with 1080p resolution. Although smaller than Xperia Z, the display packs a higher pixel density.
2013 seems to be the year of the smartphone with great new models and variants hitting markets right from the first quarter. Sony’s C670X or Samsung’s Galaxy S4? Nokia’s Lumia series or the BlackBerry set? HTC’s One versus Apple’s iPhone 5S! The battle is on!
