Hyundai has just released a new tablet which bumps some of the specs of their Hyundai T7 model. The new model called the Hyundai T7S uses the same quad core processor, graphics chip and display as the T7 but gets 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is twice as much as the original.
Hyundai T7S Technical Specifications
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS)
- Samsung Exynos 4412 quad-core processor
- Mali 400 graphics
- 7-inch 1280 × 800 resolution HFFS screen display
- 2G RAM
- 16GB Internal storage
- 5 megapixel main camera with auto-focus and flash
- 0.3 megapixel front facing camera
- Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR module
- 3300mAh battery providing up to 5 hours of use
This device costs around $186 which is $20 more than the original T7.
The original T7 was a great device that offered excellent performance at an affordable price. One problem of it though was the way the battery seemed to drain faster. The company addresses this issue with this new model by using a 3300mAh battery that’s said to provide users with 5 hours of continuous use.
The Hyundai T7S is available in dark blue color and can be ordered through various online retailers. As far as build quality goes it’s as sturdy and as solid as the original model. The use of Android Ice Cream Sandwich is outdated and I’m wondering why the company has not opted for Jelly Bean instead. There won’t be any problem with hardware compatibility since the quad core processor and 2 GB of RAM is more than enough to run the latest Android OS.
If you’re out looking for a cheap yet powerful device then this model is highly recommended. It’s great for surfing the web, checking on your social networks and will even perform well when installed with most of the games coming from the Play Store.
