Is Google’s next, the LG Nexus 5 crashing Samsung’s mega party? The company certainly has managed to steal some glory from the Korean bash. Right around the time Samsung chose to unveil its Galaxy S4, Google and LG decided to drop hints about their great new offering, one to make tech lovers see stars! Ironically, Samsung’s offering is called the Galaxy!
The specs for the new Nexus product were out less than 2 days after Samsung released its new S4. Call it spoil sport but gizmo freaks have something to look forward to beyond the S4 and the Korean company has to start working on the S5 if they are to keep up with the Nexus’s fabulous specs! Google is rumored to have upped the hardware a couple of notches and the software packs a deadly punch! Dubbed “Megalodon” this device is going to change the smartphone market.
Hardcore techies are already nuts over the phone’s spectacular specs that include 5.2” OLED display with a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels, a 16MP OmniVision rear camera with 4k video recording, front camera offering 2.1 MP resolution and 1080p video recording capability, 3GM RAM, 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 16GB or 32 GB or 64 GB storage variants, long lasting battery backup with 3300mAh Lithium Polymer battery, thumping music with front stereo speakers and connectivity with Qualcomm RF360 technology.
Whether this will remain a concept phone that will fail to materialize is yet to be seen, but if does make its way to markets, it will send smartphone giants Samsung and Apple scurrying for cover!
