New devices rumored to be released this spring include HTC One (a.k.a. M7), Samsung Galaxy S4, and Apple iPhone 5s (or iPhone 6). These are all popular devices that may take away market share from of the other devices that were released only from a few months ago.
The Samsung Galaxy Note series has been a surprising hit with consumers. When the original Galaxy Note was released, skeptics questioned whether consumers would be receptive to a large 5.5 inch screen. Some labeled the device as a “tweener”, since it is neither a typical smartphone, nor a tablet. But the sales figures show that the Galaxy Note series is here to stay. Within a month of the launch, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 sold over 3 million units.
