If you have a Nokia Lumia Windows 8 device, you would be happy to know that the Finnish smart phone manufacturer has updated a couple of apps for its Windows Mobile range. First, the company has updated the Pulse Beta for Windows Phone 8 app. Download it now.
If you are not sure what this is, the Pulse Beta app is Nokia’s take on a messaging app. People are less into SMS texting today and are using internet alternatives such as WhatsApp, which is a cross platform messaging app. With Pulse Beta, you can use multimedia content and locations as well, unlike many other apps. So if you are a new place touring, you can separate from your team and use this app to set a location on the map so that you could all agree to meet up again at one spot. The app is just amazing.
The new update to this app is already available in the Windows Phone Store, you can download it from there, or you can just swipe right in the app on your smart phone to download it over the air right on to your smart phone.
The next app we are going to talk about is the Mobile World Congress 2013 app for Windows Phone 8. The company has released this app for people who are attending the event in Barcelona to help them make their schedules properly. WP Central writes that the app has “got augmented reality features, lockscreen support, maps, speakers list, the ability to add events to your calendar, sharing contact info via NFC and more. Sounds like a really kick ass app for anyone using a Nokia Lumia at Mobile World Congress this week.” So if you are attending the event or if you are already in Barcelona for the event, this could make up a good companion.
