If you are a fan of HTC’s Android smart phones, you would already be high on HTC’s new flagship smart phone, the M7. But according to many rumors on the internet, there are two other smart phones from the Taiwanese company that are going to be announced later this month at a press conference. These smart phones are said to be codenamed HTC M4 and HTC G2.
The HTC M4 is said to be a high end Android smart phone, but not as capable of the HTC M7 itself. We can consider the HTC M4 as the HTC One S, it is an awesome device, but not as capable as its higher end counterpart, the HTC One X. The smart phone is said to sport a 4.3 inch display with a 720p resolution, which gives it a very good pixels per inch (ppi) count. It is expected to have a 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, a 2 GB of RAM, LTE connectivity, 16 GB of internal storage, and a 13 mega pixel shooter on the back of the smart phone. That is a pretty strong smart phone for its size. The smart phone is expected to be running a bit older Android 4.1, also known as Android Jelly Bean.
The HTC G2, on the other hand, is not in any way related to the company’s earlier G2 smart phone. This is supposed to be a new entry level Android smart phone with some entry level features, which is for sure going to be appreciated in emerging markets. The smart phone is said to have a 3.5 inch display with a HVGA display, 1 GHz single core processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, 5 mega pixel camera at the back, and running Android 4.0, also known as Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
The HTC G2 is indeed an entry level smart phone, but both the smart phones are a good selling point for the company and also for many markets in the world. These two smart phones are expected to launch in the spring after the release of the HTC M7 on March 8th, according to other rumors.
