There have been a lot of leaks about the next generation LG Optimus L family of Smartphones. But today, there will be no more rumors about these smart phones, and that is because the company has just now made it official. That is correct. I guess LG thought that there would be no meaning to hold that information back even when it is already out. So here they are, the LG Optimus L3 II, the Optimus L5 II, and the Optimus L7 II.
According to the company, the new line of smart phones “embodies the beauty of the first L Series but with a more refined touch.” The new series adds four new design elements, Seamless Layout, Laser Cut Contour, Radiant Rear Design and Smart LED Lighting on the home button.
The LG Optimus L7 II will come with a 4.3 inch IPS WVGA display, a 1 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon n processor (MSM8225), 768 MB of RAM, and 4 GB of built in memory space. But if you think that is not enough (which is not), you will be able to expand it with the help of a microSD card. The smart phone will be powered by a 2460 mAh battery, so you can expect the smart phone to be alive for most of the say, easily. Also, there is an 8 mega pixel camera on the back, and surprisingly a 3 mega pixel camera facing the front. The smart phone will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The LG Optimus L5 II will have a 4.0 inch WVGA display with a 1700 mAh battery. The Optimus L3 II will come with a 3.2 inch IPS QVGA display and a 1540 mAh battery. This is all the official information about the devices that we know. The company has not released any pricing details, or the availability. These details can be expected at the Mobile World Congress.
“LG has a history of pushing the envelope when it comes to style and Optimus L Series II builds on this heritage of design innovation. By evolving the sophisticated style and premium features of the original Optimus L Series, its sequel is expected to continue the popularity of the L Series around the world.”-Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company
