If you’re looking for a game you can pick up anytime you want to , play for a couple of minutes then pause it and continue with what you were previously doing then Chicken Dynamo might just be what you are looking for. The game features a flying chicken named Ace Dynamo which you need to guide to avoid all of the aerial obstacles while collecting coins.

Chicken Dynamo is developed by Selectsoft Publishing and can be downloaded right now at Google Play for just $0.99. You will need a device running on at least Android 1.6 and a storage space of 13 MB.

What’s interesting about this game is that you won’t be using the touchscreen to play it. Instead, what you will do is to tilt your device to make your character move up or down. This is a side scrolling game so you will be constantly moving and to avoid the obstacle or to collect the coins you’ll have to tilt up or down.

Some of the obstacles that you will encounter are stationary so it’s easy to avoid them. Others however are moving towards you such as the rockets and planes so you have to be quick in avoiding them. The best part of this is that whenever you go farther down the screen you end up on top and whenever you go far on top of the screen you appear at the bottom. This makes you come up with a good strategy to avoid your enemies and to collect coins that are otherwise hard to reach.

As far as the settings goes there are only two options. One is to change the music and the other is to change the tilt sensitivity.

One thing that seems to be a bug with the game is that it isn’t optimized for devices with a 768×1280 resolution. When played on these devices such as the Nexus 4 you will see black bars on the top and bottom of your screen. It looks like the game is optimized for 720×1280 pixel displays. Other than this the game looks pretty good.

Some of the features of Chicken Dynamo are

  • Totally fun, unique gameplay
  • Smooth, fast and incredibly awesome tilt controls—no need to tap or swipe!
  • Eight crazy obstacles: meteor, fan, satellite, ladder, propeller, bug zapper, airplane and missile
  • Collect coins to boost your score
  • Blow up missiles to earn extra points, but don’t get hit!
  • Beat your high score and lifetime score
  • See how far can you get without crashing
  • Fun for kids too
