You could be a hardcore PC gamer or a console addict but you surely want a Razer Edge Pro Gaming Tablet. There’s good news for those who recently just tuned into the gaming arena, Razer is giving you a chance to own an Edge through its “Get The Edge” sweepstakes that will end on January 22nd.

It is a “one in a million” chance but give it a shot and maybe you’d be the lucky one to receive a free Razer Edge Pro Gaming Tablet. All you need to do is vote for the mode you like the most and like the company’s official Facebook page.

Razer Edge Pro Gaming Tablet Modes

Tablet mode – first of all, the Edge Pro is a full-pledged tablet adorned with all necessary features to make it fully functional. It runs Windows 8 operating system and capable of playing touch-based games.

Mobile Console mode – the main unit comes with a GamePad controller that will transform the tablet into a mobile console you can pick and carry with you to continue gaming even on the go.

PC mode – it also comes with a keyboard dock that would make it a fully functional gaming laptop. This is one very important accessory for PC gamers who are used to gaming with keyboard and mouse.

Home Console mode – for the entertainment of the whole family, the Edge Pro can also be converted into a home console with its specialized controllers. Gamers can attach two controllers to it to allow co-op games.

Razer Edge Pro Gaming Tablet Specs

According to the official list of specs Razer provided to the press, the Edge Pro will come packed with Intel’s Ivy Bridge chipset with dual-core processor clocked at 1.9GHz. It is complemented with 8GB DDR3 RAM, and Intel HD 4000 and Nvidia GT 640M LF graphics (Optimus Technology).

You have an option to choose between 128GB and 256GB SSD to come with it depending on your budget. With a screen size of 10.1 inches, the Edge Pro is capable of projecting 1366 x 768 pixels resolution plus many platform-specific features.

The price starts at $1299 so even if hardcore PC gamers would want to have one of these, only a few can afford it. Majority, however, would still opt to build a full-pledged gaming PC that can be customized and upgraded when new components are released in the market. That is why, it is worth the time to vote and like Razer’s Facebook page to get a chance to win a free Razer Edge Pro Gaming Tablet.
