Samsung Galaxy Note II May Come In Ruby Wine and Amber Brown

A few days ago, an image of the Samsung Galaxy Note II in black circulated online, fuelling speculation that the color option would be offered by the South Korean electronics giant in the near future. It has already been confirmed that the photo was merely made by a fan, and that Samsung is not going to be releasing the phablet in such color.

A new leak, however, suggests that Samsung is indeed planning to release new color choices for the phablet. Instead of black, the colors are red and brown, or more specifically, Ruby Wine and Amber Brown. The information comes from a purportedly leaked photo from a South Korean magazine.

The two new colors will provide alternatives to the two that are available in the market today, which are Marble White and Titanium Gray.

As compared to the Note II, however, the Samsung Galaxy S III still has a wider range of color choices. The smartphone comes in Marble White, Pebble Blue, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black, Garnet Red, and Titanium Gray. In Korea, the smartphone was also made available in Martian Pink.

It is still unknown if the new colors of the Galaxy Note II will be released in the United States. It is rumored that the electronics giant will be showcasing the Ruby Wine and Amber Brown phablets during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, some fans have commented that Samsung should have opted to release the Galaxy Note II in black since the color remains to be a popular choice in mobile devices.

The Galaxy Note II may not be the only Samsung device that is getting a color refresh this year. Sam Mobile, citing a tipster, has announced that the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, 10.1 and Note 10.1 could be released in red, possibly before Valentine’s Day.
