If you are a person high on Nokia’s Lumia series of Windows Phone devices, you would be happy to know that we are expecting three new smart phones from the Finnish company at the Mobile World Congress event next month. The event will start on the 25th of February at 9 A. M. Barcelona time, and will go on till the 28th of the same month. Nokia is holding a press conference on the first day of the event, and the invitations were just sent out.
The invitation shows a woman holding a fork in her hand. What can that possibly mean? Well, that is anybody’s guess. Anyway, coming to the smart phones that are expected, we are focusing on Nokia EOS, Nokia Catwalk, and Nokia Laser. And of course, these are just codenames and will probably not be mentioned officially at the event.
But from the information we have gathered till today, we can say that the Nokia EOS is a Nokia Windows Phone 8 smart phone which is rumoured to have a camera sensor very similar to that on the Nokia 808 Pure View. The Nokia Catwalk is supposed to a thinner and a girly successor of the Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone smart phone. And last but not the least, the Nokia Laser is rumoured to be the Verizon variant of the Nokia Lumia 920 smart phone. So even Verizon customers also have something to look forward to in the next month’s event.
What is more exciting is the announcement that Nokia is hopefully going to make about the new Pure View technology. We have seen solution for digital zoom and a solution for low light photography with Nokia’s Pure View technology. This time, will it be a combination of both these two technologies, or will it be a new solution? We are still not sure. A lot of cameraphonetography enthusiasts are waiting to find this out.
