AT&T offering BOGO on Nokia Lumia 920

Nokia Lumia 920 is arguably the best Windows Phone 8 device out there. The Lumia 920 is apparently an AT&T carrier exclusive mode. What makes Lumia 920 attractive on ATT is that it is a high end Windows Phone 8 device, but comes with a very reasonable on-contract price. For $99, you can get yourself a Lumia 920 along with a 2 year contract, which is a nice deal considering that you are getting an awesome phone. Apart from that, ATT is also throwing in a free wireless charging plate which costs $50 if bought separately.

The free wireless charging plate offer is a promotional offer and it was said that it will be expiring on January 10th, but the offer was extended later and you can buy yourself a Lumia 920 before February 21st and be eligible for the free wireless charging plate. If you are looking for more bang for the buck, you will manage to find this smartphone at even a cheaper price from other vendors, though you don’t qualify for the charging plate offer. Valentine’s day is approaching and it’s just few weeks away. Most of the carriers will be participating by offering some promotions on handsets, and AT&T is already ready with one. Now, through February 21st, you can get a Nokia Lumia 920 for free when you buy one provided you agree to a two-year service plan for both devices. Unfortunately, the deal cannot be clubbed with the free wireless charging plate, but the good thing is that it’s an instant deal, so no need to deal with those pesky mail-in rebates or coupons.

The device is currently priced at $100 and is ranked to be the hottest phone at the moment. It’s a great device at this price, considering you are getting the buy one get one offer, which makes it technically $50 per device, but then you will be able to buy the 920 for $50 from many other vendors, and anyways you aren’t getting the free wireless charging plate from AT&T either, so not a surprising or jaw dropping deal. Anyways, you still have a month to decide whether you want to buy the 920 or not.

As far as the device goes, in my experience, it’s the best Windows Phone 8 device out there, and even the stats say the same. The device comes with a 4.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels, which translates to 332 ppi pixel density. Powering the device is a Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait on Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset. There’s an 8 megapixels camera on the rear which is supposedly the best camera found in a device in that category because it incorporates the PureView technology that is found on the much popular Nokia PureView 808 phone, which means good low light photography and good image stabilization too. The device is rugged too, thanks to the polycarbonate shell. Do you own a Lumia 920? If yes, let us know how your experience has been with the device in the comment section below.
