Toshiba Refreshes Android Tablet Line-Up By Introducing The Excite 10 SE Tablet

Toshiba has just announced a refresh of their Android tablet line-up, which will add a new 10-inch model into their portfolio. Dubbed the Excite 10 SE, the tablet is powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The tablet will hit the market on December 6th with a price tag of $349.99. It comes with 16 gigs of storage, a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, and it comes with a microSD slot. While the device definitely sounds interesting, we aren’t expecting it to be a huge competitor in the current tablet market.

Other specs like RAM and the screen resolution were not detailed, but Toshiba does say that the device is 0.4-inches thick, and it weighs in at 22.6 ounces, which is extremely close to Google’s Samsung-manufactured Nexus 10. Toshiba adding another tablet to their portfolio is great, but we really don’t here a whole lot about the company’s sales or anything. Toshiba tablets just don’t seem that popular as some of the ones that have released this year. Regardless though, the Excite 10 SE looks promising thus far, lets just hope that they are able to deliver a great experience this time around.

At a $349.99 price point, this tablet is definitely not bad. You can find a lot more details about this guy in the press release below. December 6th is only a mere two days away, and if you’ve got your eyes on this, you won’t be waiting a whole lot longer!
