It sounds like the Galaxy S IV will be launching in April folks. That’s not all though. A rumor straight out of Korea claims that this will be the first Galaxy S device to launch with an S Pen and the needed functionality. Apparently Samsung is allegedly looking to unite their Note series with their upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S IV. Interestingly enough, this has been allegedly confirmed by a quote from a Samsung insider.
While the device launching in April and rumors of it launching with an S Pen is news in itself, it is also being said that the S IV will be touting a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display. Considering what Samsung’s competition is bringing to the table, this almost seems like a fact. In addition to the 1080p AMOLED display, Samsung’s next flagship device will be running off of Jelly Bean out of the box and will be powered by one of Samsung’s quad-core Exynos 5440 chip’s, which was manufactured using 28nm high-K metal gate technology. We should also allegedly be seeing the device use ARM big.LITTLE architecture with an A7 processor paired with the A15 for intense loads.
Lastly, it’s been claimed that the Galaxy S IV will be featuring a rear 13-megapixel auto-focus camera.
What do you think about a Galaxy S device becoming more Note-like? Would you purchase it?
