Lava Mobiles is now offering a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) Android smartphone called the Iris N400. The device comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and currently retails at Rs. 6399, or around US$115 via the Flipkart online store.
The Iris N400 has a single-core processor running at 1GHz under the hood. Furthermore, it is packed with 512MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, and just 127 MB of internal storage. Fortunately, Lava Mobiles allows for expansion through a built-in microSD card slot that accepts cards with as much as 32GB extra storage capacity. The Iris N400 draws its power from a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.
This bar phone features a capacitive TFT display that spans 4 inches diagonally and comes with a resolution of 400 x 800 pixels as well as 16 million colors.
Two cameras are likewise onboard. One camera, found on its front, has a 0.3-megapixel sensor, and is useful for video chat. The other, found on its rear, has a 5-megapixel sensor for taking better quality photos and video. Said camera also offers flash, night vision mode, and 4x zoom.

Dual-SIM smartphones like the Iris N400 are helpful for those who want to take advantage of the different prices of services from two mobile operators.
