Guide For First-Time Attendees of CES Released

The team behind CES 2013 have released a guide for first-time attendees of the trade show. Called First-Timer ResourCES, the guide includes helpful tips for enjoying the event scheduled on January 8 to 11 in Las Vegas.

According to the guide, the trade show has the following exhibit hours: Tuesday, January 8: 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Wednesday, January 9: 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Thursday, January 10: 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and Friday, January 11: 9 a.m.-4 p.m..

The official CES venues are the Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center (LVCC)/ the LVH and The Venetian. Exhibitors are assigned particular booths in these locations. The numbers of such booth assignments are available in the CES 2013 official website.

CES 2013 has also partnered with several official hotels for the event. There are special CES rates as a result of such partnership. However, it should be noted that some of these rates are no longer available, and the normal rate will be applying for some reservations. These hotels have different price ranges to suit various budgets. Attendees are provided shuttle services to and from these hotels for convenience.

CES 2013 participants are advised to create a MyCES account on the official website to create a personal schedule. An official CES Mobile App that syncs with the MyCES account has also been made available. The free app, which is available for downloading on both Android and iOS users, features news, maps, and alerts to shows.

International participants may also take advantage of benefits such as meeting rooms, translators, and work areas.

For those who are visiting Las Vegas for the first time, the guide also provides information on shopping and leisure activities.
