Chameleon Launcher Needs 25 Beta Testers For The Smartphone Variant of The Launcher

Posted on Dec 5 2012 - 3:13pm by Brad Ward

There’s no doubt that just about everyone following Android blogs has heard of the Chameleon Launcher for tablets. Those who have been requesting the launcher for smartphones are in luck. The developers are looking for twenty five testers to put the launcher through its paces on a few specific phones. Most of the phones that they are looking for testers for are newer devices. Which I think hints at the fact that older devices may or may not be seeing the launcher in the future. It’ll be great to see the Chameleon Launcher head to smartphone devices, as I doubt everyone takes their 10-inch tablets around with them everywhere just to use this specific launcher application. Check to see if one of the devices you have is eligible for the Chameleon Beta!

  • HTC One X+
  • Samsung Galaxy Note II
  • Samsung Galaxy Note
  • Samsung Galaxy S III
  • Nexus 4
  • Galaxy Nexus
  • MOTOROLA RAZR HD LTE
  • LG OPTIMUS G
  • HTC DROID DNA
  • MOTOROLA RAZR MAXX HD

As you can see, the developers are going for the big devices to probably make sure that hardware isn’t going to be an issue with the Chameleon Launcher. If you have one of these devices that was listed above and will help the devs out by providing some great quality feedback, make sure to hit the source link below for more information on getting to be a tester!
