Samsung Galaxy S II Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update Leaked

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S II are going to be happy to hear that their is some good news surrounding the Jelly Bean update, as it appears to not be that far away. The Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S II has leaked online for the international variant, which suggests that we could be seeing an official one for the Galaxy S II here in the states.

You can thank XDA Developers for the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update leak. The update is for the I-9100 international version of the Samsung Galaxy S II. Reports are saying that the update is bug free, which is leading to suspicions of the update being the final version. Samsung has previously said that the update would be on rolling out to devices at some point in November (an official date wasn’t confirmed). We’re only a few days away from December, which means we could be seeing this update roll out at any moment.

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S II will see the new TouchWiz interface with lots of other features such as Google Now with the update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. If your anxious to get your hands on the Jelly Bean update and you know how to flash a ROM, you may just want to take the leaked build for a test drive. Of course, if you haven’t done that type of stuff before, your risking bricking (destroying) your device. Don’t worry though, since this could be the final version of the update, we could see an official release by the end of the month or even early December. I think a lot of us prefer updating through Kies or OTA anyway.

Are you looking forward to the Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S II?
