Daily Steals is in the news again with the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales finishing a few days ago. But this time it’s a new device and with an even attractive pricing. We reported about the LG Nexus 4 deal by Daily Steals a few days ago but this time around it’s the Samsung Galaxy Camera (AT&T). While this might not necessarily appeal to everybody out there, it’s certainly worth a look. The Galaxy Camera is a point and shoot camera bundled with the goodness of Android and everything else that comes along with it. And the device is available for $450 on Daily Steals which is $50 less than the original price of the device on AT&T. The device launched less than two weeks ago, which makes the deal all the more interesting.
Daily Steals is usually known for its 24 hour deals (as the name says), but this one here will last a little longer than that. At the time of writing this post, there’s still 27 more days left for the promotion to expire, which is a lot of time. The Galaxy Camera does everything a top-end Android device would do and even bests it in some areas, mainly the camera. However, this one here is merely a media device with a killer camera and it can’t make calls or receive texts, but thanks to the SIM card slot on the device for 4G LTE, users can certainly make use of VoIP services to stay in touch with their friends. The device is your ultimate media device with the beast of a camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean accompanied by the Exynos 4412 quad core chip (1.4 GHz). But the highlight of the device as you would have guessed by now is the 16.3MP camera sensor with a wide angle 23mm lens and 21x optical zoom. It packs 8GB of internal storage with an expandable memory of up to 64GB via the microSD card slot. All of Samsung’s app goodies and software tweaks are available on the Galaxy Camera, so you’ll feel at home if you’re a GS3 user.
So while this will easily replace any point and shoot camera in the market, it also stands right up there with the likes of the Galaxy S III as one of the fastest media devices around. It also shares the same display as the Galaxy S III. So it can basically be dubbed as a Galaxy S III with a better camera minus the ability to send texts or make calls.
