The LG Optimus G hasn’t been with us that long with only releasing a bit over a month ago, but that isn’t stopping LG from working on future plans. The company seems to already be planning on a successor to the LG Optimus G. It’s beginning to look like its going to be one heck of a device. What we’ve seen so far is that it will have a Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 2.0GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, a display featuring 108- resolution running on the latest Android OS (in this case it would be Android 4.2, but rumors are going around that it could be Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie). While those specs look drool-worthy, we are just going to have to wait until LG takes off the curtains on this bad boy sometime in 2013.
I’d personally say its a tad early to already be speculating about this device, as we shouldn’t see anything more about it until Q3 of 2013. This is the only information we have on the rumored successor, and we unfortunately probably won’t see anything else about it until later in 2013.
While some of you may be looking forward to this successor, I’m personally excited to see what Samsung will be showcasing with the Galaxy S IV at the Mobile World Congress in 2013.
Is it too early to be thinking about a successor to some of the latest flagship devices like this? Especially when its rumored to be unveiled in Q3 of 2013, which is quite a while from now?
