The Lenovo Music Phone P770 is now available in China for the price of CNY 1,699, which is about $273. This smartphone packs a 3,500 mAh lithium-polymer battery, which is bigger than the one found on the Motorola’s Droid Razr Maxx and Motorola Maxx HD, which come with 3,300 mAh batteries. According to Lenovo, this lithium-polymer battery offers twice the power of lithium-ion batteries. Lenovo estimates that this massive battery can offer up to 29 hours of talk-time and up to 644 hours of stand-by time when fully charged. It also has three power-saving modes, including a custom one to give users control on how the battery uses the stored energy.
The Lenovo P770 also comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean that has several customizations from the phone maker. Its CPU is a dual-core Cortex A9 processor running at the speed of 1.2GHz. It also has 1GB of RAM as well as 4GB of storage capacity. This may still be expanded through a microSD card slot The phone is likewise equipped with two cameras, one of which is a VGA front-facing camera whereas the other is a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera that has LED flash. It also has several connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, 3G, and GPS. The handset offers a qHD HD display measuring 4.5 inches diagonally. Said display has a 960 × 540 pixel resolution. In the entertainment department, it features third-generation Smart sound technology, HD stereo recording, Dual MIC noise reduction design, and automatic volume control, among others. As for its dimensions, the P770 spans 133 x 67 x 11.9 and tips the scale at 161 grams.
A standard package of the Lenovo Music Phone P770 includes a travel charger, an adapter charging cable, a USB data cable, and headphones for its 3.5 mm audio jack. Lenovo is also throwing in a free 8GB MicroSD card.
It is still unknown whether this smartphone will be sold outside of China.
