A report coming from Chinese website ePrice, a global variant of the HTC DROID DNA may not arrive in stores until early December. That’s not really the best of news to hear, since the United States version is expected to hit shelves on November 20th. The good news though, is that the HTC DROID DNA will come in a few different colors. Leaks in a series of renders show that we mighr be seeing a white, brown and even black models of the global DROID DNA, which still falls under a similar DLX codename.
With both the codename and the build looking nearly identical, it wouldn’t be an overstatement that this version of the smartphone will be touting a t-inch 108- display, quad-core processor, 2GB of Ram, and run on ANdroid 4.1 Jelly Bean. The HTC DROID DNA is reported to be a separate device than the HTC J Butterfly as was originally reported.
At this point in time, it seems that the DROID DNA will only be coming in one color scheme in the United States — black and red. I have to admit, I was looking forward to a bit more choice in color schemes here in the United States. I guess we’ll find out more details on what exact colors will be offered tomorrow at the Verizon and HTC event in New York City.
