Buy WP8 devices at discounted prices from Amazon

Nokia and HTC launched Windows Phone 8 devices few weeks back. The new operating system is of course interesting and is very elegant, and perhaps is the perfect change that people are looking for. On November 9th, AT&T was the first to launch the Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and HTC 8X. AT&T did surprise all of us by launching the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 at $99.99 and $49.99 (on a 2 year contract) respectively. The Lumia 920 was rumored to launch at $150 previously, so the launch price was great.

The carrier is offering big discount on the phone already, but you can still find a bargain elsewhere if you dig for it. Few days back, I wrote about a deal from CompUSA where they are giving out the Lumia 820 for FREE with a 2 year contract, but the catch of course is that you are expected to buy a Windows 8 computer from them. Then we had the Walmart deal where in which you can get your Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 for $49.99 and $0 respectively. Yes, that’s a $50 flat discount on the already subsidized price. Jumping the Windows Phone 8 bandwagon now is Amazon Wireless, and they have got some nice deals to offer.

If you haven’t purchased your Windows Phone 8 device yet, you can get your Lumia 920, Lumia 820 or HTC 8X from Amazon wireless at lowered prices. As mentioned above, AT&T is selling the flagship Nokia Lumia 920 for $99.99 on contract, but Amazon is offering a $50 discount and is selling the handset for just $49.99. According to the website, only white and black versions of the 920 are currently in stock at Amazon. The cyan, red and yellow ones are backordered, and the expected shipping time for these colors are between 1 and 2 weeks. The Nokia Lumia 820 is also being offered at a discounted price of $0.01 on a 2 year contract, which is $49.98 saving over AT&T’s asking price. It should be noted that Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 are the exclusive models from AT&T, so you won’t be able to buy one of these from other carriers.

HTC 8X is also an awesome device. The device comes in two storage values, 8 gig which costs $99.99 on contract and 16 gig which costs $199.99 on contract. As of now, Amazon is only offering discount on the 8 gig version of HTC 8X, and you will be able to buy it for $39.99 on 2 year AT&T contract. The 16GB edition is still retailing at the same price of $199.99, so you will be better off buying the 8 gig version, and no, the 8X doesn’t include a microSD card slot, so you won’t be able to expand the memory capacity with an aftermarket microSD card.

Nokia Lumia 920 of course offers great value for money when compared to the HTC 8X. Which phone will you choose when it comes to Windows Phone 8? Let us know in the comment section below.
