Xperia C650X Odin Could Be Sony’s 2013 Flagship Phone

User agent profiles of Sony’s upcoming phones slated for 2013 have allegedly been leaked. One of these devices is said to be the next flagship smartphone of the Japan-based electronics company. The flagship phone, which is reportedly codenamed Odin, has several model numbers including C6502, C6503 and C6506. All three numbers refer to different variants of the phone aimed at various regions. Said user agent profiles also reveal that the flagship device will be running on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

The other two phones are said to be comparable to the Sony Xperia tipo and the Sony Xperia miro handsets. Known by their model numbers, C1505 and C1604 or C1605, these entry-level devices sport HVGA displays and come with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich as their operating system.

According to NenaMark 2 results, the C160X is driven by a Snapdragon MSM7227A chipset and a single-core 1GHz Cortex-A5 CPU plus an Adreno 200 GPU. Meanwhile, there is no information available yet about the C150X, but it is speculated that it will have the same platform. By comparison, the Sony Xperia tipo and the Sony Xperia miro are both powered by CPUs running at the speed of 800MHz, so these new devices should offer some improvement in terms of speed.
