Motorola Droid RAZR HD may be coming soon

Motorola Droid RAZR HD has been in the talks for a few months now. The smart phone is the most anticipated Motorola smart phone now. There are a lot of people eagerly waiting for the smart phone around the globe and the company, for some reason, seems to be delaying the release of the smart phone.

There was a rumor some time around last month that the Motorola Droid RAZR HD would be released on Verizon in the moth of October, as the equivalent of the smart phone in Germany was being released around the same time. But to the end of September, we got the sad news that the release of both the smart phones, the Droid RAZR HD and the Droid RAZR MAXX HD, may be delayed again due to an antenna issue in the devices.

But today, there is some news that most of the people waiting for the smart phone would like to know. The Verizon stores across the United States have started stocking accessories for the Motorola Droid RAZR HD, screen protectors for the smart phone to be precise. What does this mean? Well, this means that the release of the smart phone is very close, or why would anybody stock accessories for a device that is not scheduled to launch any time soon?

If the companies, the wireless carrier – Verizon, and the smart phone manufacturer – Motorola, delay the release of the smart phone any more, potential buyers are for sure going to lose interest in the smart phone and the demand for the smart phone may drop.

The news comes from Droid Life, and with this news, comes another rumor that the possible date for the release of the smart phone is October 18th, that is just 10 days away. This info is extracted from Verizon’s minimum advertised price (MAP) list, but one should not completely depend on this list as we have seen the release date of some of the devices pushed back in the past.

    They’re proving to be subpar, cobbled-together devices; not game changers a la the original Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX. The RAZR MAXX HD should have a 12 or 13 MP camera. There is no logical evolution to the new devices.

    @Nostromo
    1. I’d say batteries alone and Razr M *ARE* game changers.
    2. Snapdragon S4 is de facto standard, and it’s logical to follow the path and upgrade the line-up
    3. Instead of MPx which are uncesesary anyway, they should use glass lenses and f=2.0 cameras.
    4. Moto should rather streamline it’s offering and limit number of other models.
