Huawei Ascend Mate Outed By Chinese Website, Features 1.8GHz Processor

Phablets are continuing to really take off, as more and more companies start picking the idea up and adapting it to their own brand. Huawei isn’t going to sit back in the corner while HTC, Samsung, and ASUS takes the market, so they’ve gone ahead and have created a 6.1 inch behemoth phablet. Dubbed the Huawei Ascend mate, this device will be coming in at 9.9 mm of thickness, a 6.1 inch 1080p display, powered by a 1.8GHz K3 V3 quad core processor with 2GB of RAM, and a massive 4,000 mAh battery. These specs are simply amazing, and we mine as well start add calling features to our Nexus 7’s. A 6.1 inch phablet? Good grief.

So far, no actual photos of this leaked device have been revealed, there are also no additional details, at least at the moment. Still, if this all turns out to be true to what we have seen on the screenshot from this Chinese website above, this device should be coming out of the woodwork extremely soon, and even possibly before the end of the year.

Technology is getting crazy. Would you pick up something like this, or is 6.1 inches a little to big for you? Sound off in the comments!
