Some retailers have recently announced that the Sony Xperia T would release in the United Kingdom today, but the handset apparently has failed to appear on store shelves, leaving a vast amount of confusion as to when Sony’s new international flagship device would actually be available for purchase. Sony was asked the question as to when the handset would come out at the company’s summer showcase even in London today. Talk Android was told that a late September release was a possibility with a specific date being September 28th. It’s a likely date for the handset to launch, but nothing has officially been confirmed. Still, I think we can expect to see the handset near the end of September or early October.
If the Xperia T does end up arriving around that time frame, it’s very likely that it’ll also be competing with Apple’s next iPhone that is rumored to release around that time as well. It’ll also be competing with other devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 along with devices that were just recently announced from HTC, Motorola and Nokia. Whatever the case is, Sony will be hoping its innovative and unique designs, upgraded software along with strong camera specs will help consumers make a decision towards the Xperia T or any devices in the new Xperia lineup for that matter.
Will anyone be getting an Xperia T instead of one of the many devices that HTC, Motorola, Nokia and Samsung has announced? Let us know in the comments below!
