Sony has a pretty good line of Android smart phones, but very few of them make it to the United States of America. Now, this trend seems to be changing. The company has decided to make a few of its device available in the US, unlocked. That is a good news for Sony smart phone fans.
The Sony Xperia T passed its FCC inspection and is ready to be launched on T Mobile’s network. The Xperia Arco S is another device which will suit the people who are most interested in having their smart phones a bit high on technology and specs. The smart phone has an awesome 4.3 inch LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It has a dual core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon CPU with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of on board storage. If that is not enough for you, you can always use a microSD card to increase the memory up to 32 GB. And to power all this up, the smart phone comes with a 1,910 mAh battery. The Arco S comes in black and ceramic white colors, and if you want to buy it unlocked from the company’s online store, you will have out $649.99 from your pocket.
The affordable variant of this is the Xperia Miro, which sells for just $239.99. The smart phone, which comes in white, white/gold, black/pink, and metal black colors, has a smaller 3.5 inch screen. The smart phone runs on a 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225A processor. This is an entry level Android smart phone which has a 512 MB RAM and a screen resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. For multimedia storage, you will get only 4 GB of on board storage, and a below standard 5 MP camera. But the good thing is, this also has a microSD card slot to expand the memory and comes with ICS out of the box, which is definitely a plus point.
There are a couple more devices which would catch your attention on a store shelf. So which one would you choose?
