iOS 6 already jailbroken

It’s not even been a day since of the launch of the new mobile operating system by Apple, the iOS 6, and we already have great news. The latest mobile operating system has already been jailbroken, that’s right! The iPhone Dev-Team, which is the unofficial iPhone development team which is always very busy in adding new features of almost all of Apple’s post PC devices, came up with this announcement. The Redsn0w tethered jailbreak is the one we are talking about. All you have to do is download the software and jailbreak your device.

But according to Redmond Pie, only the iPhone 4, the iPhone 3GS, and the fourth generation iPod Touch are the only devices being supported by the hack. So if you have an iPhone 4S and have updated the operating system to iOS 6 already, you will have to wait a bit more longer to be able to jailbreak your device, which should be any time now.

Jailbreaking the new release of the operating system in a day is not a big deal, we have seen this happening from the release of the iOS 4. And last year, when iOS 5 was released, these people were able to jailbreak it just hours after its release.

The new iOS 6 comes with over 200 new features, as told by the Apple employee during the keynote. And being able to add more new features to it with jailbreaking is a joy in itself. Apple has always been against the idea of jailbreaking, and it reasons, “that the practice can cause instability in the operating system and potentially put it at risk of security problems.” But the fact that you can add awesome apps and features to your iPhone which are not available in the Apple App Store is an exciting experience.

So, if your device is listed and is eligible to be jailbroken, you can do so now. But be careful, and you are doing it at your own risk.
