A few days back, Google added India to the list of countries, developers from where can sell paid apps on the Android Play Store. But today, the company has changed its decision again and removed one of the counties which is considered as the software capital of the world. There are a lot of developers in india who are trying to get into the world of Androd development, including the writer.
The reason for this decision is not yet known, but this definitely is a blow to many developers. But if you are an Android developer from India and want to sell your awesome apps on the Android Play Store, you have ways to do that. But there is no guarantee that it will work for sure, and it also a bit risky.
First, you will have check the list of countries from which Android developers are allowed to sell paid apps in the Android Play Store. Next, you will have check if you have any relatives living over there. Next, you will have open a bank account in their name in that particular country. Then, start a floating company there, which is a bit difficult to many developers. Once you are done with all these, you are good to go. You can now easily sell paid apps on the Android Play Store.
Of course, this method is not limited only to Indian developers. Any Android developer in any country which is not included in the list of countries can make use of this method. But obviously, this is risky and if Google finds out about your little game, it may even go to the extent of removing you and your apps from the Play Store. So think more than twice before doing any such thing.
Don’t you think the potential of Indian developers is not being utilized by the search engine giant?
