HTC Unveils New Windows Phone 8X with Beats Audio

There’s a new Windows Phone 8 powered smartphone in town and it’s going to be called as the HTC 8X. Sporting its premium set of features, the flagship handset will be on sale this early November. It will be available in over 50 countries through accredited retailers and major mobile network carriers. The stylish yet classy looking smartphone will most likely fall under the price tag of $646 dollars. It is currently listed at Clove UK and is available for pre-order.

What’s so special about the HTC Windows Phone 8X? Well, it flaunts its perfect-fit design with ultra-unique matte finish that makes it more comfortable to hold and it doesn’t have those annoying bumps or protruding buttons. That’s not all. The smartphone looks very stylish as it comes in four different bold colors – Graphite Black, Flame Red, California Blue and Limelight Yellow. HTC even dubbed its design as revolutionary and iconic. Thus, it will give you the freedom to express your unique personality.

Of course, the 8X isn’t all about being trendy since it can definitely take pride of its impressive features and specifications. It is 10.1mm thin and it weighs no heavier than 130 grams. Plus, it sports its stunning 4.3-inch S-LCD2 capacitive touchscreen that’s been set at 720 x 1280 pixels of full screen resolution. It has a total pixel density of 342 ppi and it is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Its screen is durable enough and you’re definitely going to enjoy watching your favorite photos and videos.

You’ll also be impressed with the phone’s sound quality thanks to its Beat Audio sound enhancement system. Sadly, the HTC Windows Phone 8X lacks the needed micro SD card slot for external storage and it can only offer its 16GB of storage that goes alongside with its 1GB RAM.

Performance-wise, the 1.5 GHz dual core Krait Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chip that powers the 8X is reliable enough to cater to your multi-tasking activities. Plus, it runs on Windows Phone 8, Microsoft’s latest OS for mobile devices. It also flaunts its 8 mega pixel rear facing camera with auto focus, geo-tagging and LED flash. You can use it to take a lot of high-res photos and you can even record a couple of 1080p HD quality videos.

On top of that, the phone is also equipped with a 2.1 mega pixel front camera that can be utilized for self-portraits and video calls. The HTC 8X uses a microSIM card slot and it supports both 2G and 3G networks.
