Galaxy S III Developer Version On Verizon’s Network Backordered

The unlockable developer version of Big Red’s Samsung galaxy S III, just went on sale yesterday for people to order. Unfortunately, the device is now on backorder. There probably weren’t a whole lot of devices available if it were to run out as quick as it did. That or it was so popular, that they couldn’t keep up with the demand. Both the 16 gigabyte and 32 gigabyte versions of the handset are no longer available for purchase. Hopefully more will be in soon, but as of now, it’s out of stock.

Verizon hasn’t said anything as to how long it will take to get more in, but if you can’t wait for more developer editions, the retail editions of the Samsung Galaxy S III are fairly easy to open up.
