The smart phone market is now buzzing with really high end devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, Apple iPhone 5, HTC One X, HTC 8X, Nokia Lumia 920, and the like. With people waiting in queues to buy such really powerful devices, do you think there is still a market for low end smart phone which come at a really affordable price? Well, a few manufacturers like to believe this, and Acer is one of those few manufacturers.
The company has many budget Android smart phones in the line up, and to add to them, it has come up with a new budget smart phone, called the Acer Z110. The Z110 comes in a small package, a bulky one by the looks of it. The attractive features of the little smart phone include Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich, out of the box, and the ability to house two SIM cards. Yes, the Acer Z110 is a budget dual SIM card ICS device.
The price of the smart phone, though not officially announced, is expected to be around €100. Well, that is a budget smart phone for sure. This price tag offers you a rear facing camera, of course, and a 3.5 inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, which is not so bad, but definitely below average. But very little is known about the mega pixels of the camera.
We also know that the smart phone has the ability to expand the storage space with a microSD card slot, but we do not know how much storage space it offers on board. But, for people who love fast internet connections, the budget smart phone does offer 3G connectivity. There is no news about any other connectivity options, or about the device launch, or about any other thing. These are the specs that have been leaked online with a few photos of the actual device. So until the company comes out with the official announcement, this is all we can rely on.
