BigAndroidBBQ Is On Its Way!

Have you heard of the Big Android BBQ 2012? Well, it’s coming up really soon and some of you have been really curious as to who will be hosting the sessions and speaking at the event. We’re now able to get a look at the initial list and so far, everything is looking really good and some of the speakers are looking really interesting.  Here’s the initial list from Android Central:

Just keep in mind that this is the initial list. All of the guests and speakers haven’t been listed yet, so keep your eyes on the lookout for more additions. While you’re doing that, have you gotten your tickets to the event yet? If not, you’ll want to get some very soon as they’ll be ending the sale on tickets in the next few weeks. Ticker prices start off at $50 for the event. Here’s the full ticket announcement:

Tickets go on sale July 11th – There will be a total of 1,000 tickets available (900+ of which will be priced at $55).  There will also be about a hundred “bracketed” tickets that include extras like lunch and a separate dinner with the BigAndroidBBQ staff.Tickets will be available for about 60 days, or until they sell out. Tickets are non-refundable, as they have been in the past, but we will accommodate transfers when we deem them appropriate. There will be no transfers after September 19th.

The event will be held at the Hurst Conference Center in Texas. It starts on October 19th and ends on the 21st of 2012. Not sure what the event is all about? Here’s what their website says about the event:
