If you haven’t any idea what Angry Birds is, boy you must be living under a rock! It’s only one of the most popular titles ever to hit the Android operating system ever! I honestly don’t see the whole fad about it all though. I mean its fun, I enjoy it a lot, but people swearing allegiance to the company and the game is pretty darn weird, you have to admit. And by swearing allegiance, I don’t mind literally, I mean that by picking up the flag of fanboyism that we should all be familiar with when it comes to the Apple vs Samsung case.
That said, those who love Angry Birds will be ecstatic to hear about their new update to Angry Birds: Space. Rovio announced this new update to through a pretty epic trailer of a NASA Rover discovering the evil pigs on Mars and the Angry Birds team trying to fend them off. The video is quite comical, I do have to say, check it out below:
Both NASA and Rovio are behind the workings of Angry Birds Space, and as we’ve seen, they’ve had a fantastic relationship during the development. With the popularity of the Mars Curiosity Rover, Rovio decided to spice things up in Angry Birds: Space and incorporate the Curiosity Rover into the game in a pretty big way. The Curiosity Rover has a major role in the trailer, as you’ve seen if you watched the video. But, word has also said that the Curiosity Rover also has a role in the storyline which has the Evil Pigs hijacking Curiosity to go in search of more eggs. The changelog that was also released today had indicated that there are also twenty new levels on the Red Planet are now available along with some other goodies.
Here’s the full changelog that was posted on Google Play for those of you that are interested:
