Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q Passes the FCC – Next Stop, T-Mobile!

It has been a while since we heard about Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q (SGH-T699), well now we share some good news about this handset, as it has been passed by the FCC is it is now making its way towards T-Mobile. Although, it has been passed by the FCC, but not much light was shed on this device other than this fact. However, the docs did revealed about the specs for the device’s radio bands.

The device is a QWERTY phone and will come to T-Mobile. The specs of this handset are somewhat similar to its predecessor, who was however, keyboard-less, the Galaxy S Blaze 4G. Although, this news has not been confirmed, but it is possible that the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q will sport the same 720p HD display with 4 inch screen. Now, as we said, this news is not confirmed, so there is a possibility that these specs might come a bit above or below.

There is not much known about the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q so far, but rumor has it that it will be quiet similar to the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze. This would mean that the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q will come with a 4inch screen and a 720p HD display, powered by a Snapdragon 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM. Moreover, this handset will be running on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. This is kind of a bad news for android lovers who were desperately awaiting for another Jelly Bean device to arrive in the market because as of now, Google Nexus 7 is the only device available in the market that runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. All the negative points aside, this handset should be able to make its market, because there are still a lot of people who would love to move down from touch to a QWERTY keyboard.

The QWERTY keyboard itself has its market and there are plenty of users who would love to make a switch. But, whether or not the specs of this handset will be able to satisfy their needs or not is a completely different story, which has yet to unfold. However, those who are interested in this handset should be able to get a closer look at this handset because recently, a few pictures of this handset were leaked, which are now surfing on different websites on the internet. Moreover, there was also news that the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q handset will hit the market this coming August. If you want me to be more precise about the release date, then it is speculated to be August 15 of this year. However, let us not tie our hopes to that date because it might not be true. So, QWERTY keyboard lovers can mark this date on their calendars, but I would not suggest to do so with a red marker because as for what we know now, there is a possibility that the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q launch date might change.
