Images of the LG Motion 4G MS770 phone that is possibly coming on MetroPCS have recently leaked on Twitter via the user @evleaks. If the name sounds familiar, it is because the same user was responsible for showing photos of the Samsung Jasperleaked picture just about a week ago. The photos have been since taken down whether by the owner of the photos or LG itself. Nonetheless, it had already sparked some interest online.
The device is believed to be powered by a fast Qualcomm S4 Snapdragon processor and a qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It could have a rear-facing camera with a 5-megapixel sensor and a front-facing camera whose number of pixels is still unknown. The name of the device, of course, points to 4G LTE connectivity, but Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support are also likely. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich could be the operating system. Other expected features include a microSD card slot for expansion, built-in speakers, and headphones jack, all of which are pretty much standard in today’s smartphones.
MetroPCS has not announced the phone as of now. Meanwhile, the LG Motion 4G is also said to be headed to AT&T but will probably be marketed under a different name, possibly LG P870, but this has also been neither confirmed nor denied.
In related news, another LG phone is purportedly headed for another US carrier. The phone is called the LG Cayenne and it could be making its way to Sprint. The LG Cayenne likewise appeared in the same Twitter account that gave the public a possible preview of the LG Motion 4G. For its part, the LG Cayenne supposedly sports a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 5-megapixel main camera, and 1GB of RAM. Its display is allegedly a WVGA capacitive touchscreen measuring 4 inches diagonally. Details for this phone are also scarce at the moment.
