For $50 You can Have Android on any TV, Thanks to iPPea TV Dongle

Android is currently the most popular operating system, and it is just getting better.  Today, Android is going everywhere, and you can even have it on your TV just by buying a dongle worth 50 bucks!  The latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich is from iPPea, a simple dongle which you can plug into any HDMI-enabled TV to get the full ICS experience as you would on a smartphone or a tablet.

This small dongle is a fully functioning Android super microcomputer which enables a user connect to the cloud and access a wide range of services online, websites and applications as well as enjoy a high quality entertainment experience.  According to iPPea CEO Amanda Senkowski, the iPPea TV dongle uses the MIPS based Ingenic processor which is perfect for providing all the benefits of an industry-standard architecture including a wide range of ecosystem friendly software and tools.  Because of its in-built power efficiency, the iPPea TV dongle can be powered on a standard USB port such as those on DTVs.  Unlike other Android dongles we have seen in the market of late, the iPPea dongle does not need a heat sink and can be plugged on the TV and forgotten about.
