Samsung released the list of T-Mobile phones to get ICS update

I know that almost all of you have been waiting for the new Android 4.0, or Ice Cream Sandwich update for a long time now. Most of you might already have been rooted your phones and installed one of different available repack ROMs and a custom ROM on top of it just to enjoy the awesomeness of the newest kid in the block. I have also done this and I know how it feels to have the latest operating system operating on your smart phone, making it even more smarter. But even if you do this, the official update that you get from your smartphone’s manufacturer or your wireless network carrier is even more better as it would be specifically made for your phone and also would be very stable.

So, getting the update is important. But when do we get it? Well, that is a very big question and a question which is difficult to answer. But looks like Samsung has been listening to your prayers. The South Korean smart phone giant has released a list of T Mobile Samsung Android phones that are shortlisted to get the update to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich soon enough. The update though, could take a while to come.

“Samsung is in close communication with both Google and our carrier partners to upgrade devices to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as quickly and as smoothly as possible,” the company wrote on its website. So, it is not yet clear of how soon the update will be released, but it is for sure that the short listed devices will get the update for sure. By the way, the devices are Galaxy S II, Galaxy S Blaze 4G, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Galaxy Tab 10.1.

So, how many of you are still waiting for this official release and how many of you have already flashed a custom ICS ROM?
