Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 tablets to come with free 50 GB of storage on DropBox for a year
The South Korean Android smart phone giant, Samsung, announced the new Samsung Galaxy S III just a few weeks ago and has not yet started with the shipments. The smart phone has got some really awesome specs to leave Android fan boys tempting if they are not getting one for themselves. But another very attractive feature, or offer, that the phone is bringing with it is the free 50 GB of online cloud storage that Drop Box is offering for all Samsung Galaxy S III owners. Yes, that is true. And this will just increase the storage space of your Samsung Galaxy S III if you are not happy with the storage available on the smart phone.
Now, the same applies to the new series of Samsung Galaxy branded tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 series. There are two variants in the series, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. Both these tablet are going to be coming with 50 GB of free online cloud storage from Drop Box, the same offer as with the Samsung Galaxy S III. This also is very attractive as you will not have to necessarily upgrade the memory on your device. But this offer will stay with you only for a year.
So after a year of utilizing the cloud storage of Drop Box, you will have to get used the very less space on your Galaxy Tab after all. Or you will always have to option to pay for the cloud storage. Android Authority writes:
After the end of the special offer, you won’t be left completely hanging, as Dropbox will continue to offer Galaxy Tab 2 users a more modest 2 GB+ storage available for any free account, plus another 3 GB for your second year of using the tablet.
That is somewhat relaxing, but not really a very happy news. As the saying goes, something is better than nothing. So how many of you have plans of getting the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 series of tablets?

I have a question, let’s say I am using 20Gb of the free 50Gb. After the first year, I will only have 2 or 5 GB from Dropbox. Then, what will happen to the extra 15 or 18GB that I was using before?
if I have a dropbox account already and select that option will 50GB be appended to that?
